How important is spirituality in your life?

🌙 When someone asks “How important is spirituality in your life?”—my brain takes a moment to swirl through a thousand thoughts.
Not because I don’t know… but because spirituality isn’t always something you can clearly explain.
It’s not a checklist. It’s not always peaceful. And it definitely isn’t one-size-fits-all.

But I’ll try.

Spirituality, to me, is about connection.
Not just to a higher power—but to myself.
To nature.
To the quiet places between chaos.
To healing.
To the spark that says:
Keep going. You’re here for a reason.

It’s the moment the wind hits your skin just right and suddenly you feel alive.
It’s the soft tug in your chest when a song makes you cry and you don’t know why.
It’s the voice inside that says rest—even when the world screams hustle.

Sometimes it shows up in yoga.
Sometimes in a journal entry I didn’t plan to write.
Sometimes in laughter that turns to tears that turns to laughter again.
Sometimes it’s just me walking with my camera, catching light I didn’t expect to see.

My spirituality isn’t polished.
It’s not tied up in perfect rituals or routines.
It’s more like a conversation—with the universe, with my past, with healing.
And honestly? Some of my most spiritual moments happen while snuggling a cat or watching a thunderstorm roll in.
(They don’t mention that in the textbooks, but it’s true.)

It keeps me grounded.
It gives me space to grow.
And it reminds me—even on the days when my heart feels like a cracked shell—I’m not broken. I’m becoming.

So yes, spirituality is important in my life.
But not because it makes me feel perfect.
Because it reminds me I’m already enough—even while I grow.
