It’s Soulful Sunday—my favorite time to slow down, look back, and soak in the sparkly little moments I might’ve missed during the hustle. Some weeks feel like wild storms, and others pass like soft winds—but each one carries lessons, love, and maybe a little cat hair.
This week reminded me how much gratitude can ground us—even when we’re a little tired, nervous, or reaching outside our comfort zone.
🌟 I’m thankful for:
1. My job, and the incredible people I work with and under. Their support? Truly unwavering. They remind me that good humans exist in every corner.
2. Quiet moments and chill conversations with people I love. No pressure. No pretending. Just peace.
3. Never-ending love and cuddles from my kitties. Thunder, Stormi, Sir Princess Simon, Fromage, and Journi—you are pure comfort in fur form.
4. My son Troy. I can’t stress this enough—I love that kid. Watching him grow and show up in the world gives me so much hope.
🌈 Dreams & Aspirations:
1. I’m yearning for peace—especially when I sleep.
The nightmares have been rough, and they sometimes steal my rest. But I’m working through it, one breath at a time. Here’s a short poem I wrote to help me (and maybe you) release those nighttime shadows:
“Let the Night Be Gentle”
Tuck your fears into the moonlight’s glow,
Where dreams drift softly, and healing can flow.
Release what haunts and hush what clings,
Let peace unfold on quiet wings.
The dark can’t hold what light lets go—
You are safe. You are strong. You are whole.
2. I’m building my dreams.
I’m growing my It Works! business and breathing life into this blog. It’s a slow burn, but I’m learning to be patient with the process. Every post, every product, every spark counts.
3. I’m learning that it’s OK to be vulnerable.
Big news: I bought a tripod—with a light and mic attached. 👀 That can only mean one thing… VLOGGING. Yep. Me. The woman who avoids mirrors and cringes at the sound of her own voice.
But guess what? I’m doing it anyway. Because healing lives in honesty.
Mistakes? Bring ’em. Stutters? Let ’em happen.
This is my season of showing up—even when I’m scared.
4. It’s Kettlebell Week!
I’m pairing strength training with yoga and seeing what this body of mine can do. No pressure to be perfect—just showing up for the spark inside me that wants to feel stronger.
🪞This Week’s Reflections:
From Selfie Saturday to launching blog themes, this week has been full of baby steps with big energy.
I’ve learned:
*Selfies aren’t vanity—they’re visibility.
*Fun facts can be healing.
*Sharing my story might help someone else find theirs.
And perhaps most importantly:
*Spark doesn’t always look like fireworks.
Sometimes it’s just showing up, sipping tea, writing a blog, or petting your cat. But it’s still powerful.
